How to choose Spiral Hose Guard?

1. Whether the surface of the product is smooth
From the raw material point of view, the better the molecular weight of the polypropylene raw material, the finer and smoother the surface of the produced product. So if you find that the surface of the spiral hose guard is rugged, burr, protrusion, etc., it is likely to be a waste plastic recycling material or a spiral protective sleeve made of polypropylene doped with this recycled material.

2. By smelling
The raw material used in the spiral hose guard itself is colorless and odorless, and its color is produced by adding pigment during the production process. But why do some spiral hose guard have a pungent smell? It is because the waste rubber needs to be crushed and rebuilt after being recycled, and other chemicals are added in the process, and a series of processing processes will have a pungent smell.

3. Spiral hose guard wall thickness
The thicker the spiral protective sleeve is, the more wearable it is. This is the wrong statement. The protective guard of two different raw materials is rubbed on the uneven ground, and the thick protective cover has a larger wear area and a more serious wear. This is because the wear resistance of the recycled product is greatly reduced. An overly thick protective sleeve is not necessarily more wear resistant and difficult to install.

4. Tensile properties
By firmly stretching the spiral protective sleeve, the protective cover that is quickly restored to its original shape can be purchased with confidence. After the stretching, the gap of the protective cover becomes large and cannot be restored to its original state.
